Need Your Help! (Now With Features)

I need the help of people who know their gear. I have a big wedding that i am doing both the photography and videography for next week and i need to know out of this list which lens or lenses i should rent to go with my Rebel XTi & XTs.

EF 35mm f2
EF 50mm f2.5 compact-macro
EF-S 60mm f2.8 macro USM
EF 85mm f1.8 USM
EF 100mm f2 USM
EF 100mm f2.8 macro USM
EF 300mm f4 IS
EF 300mm f2.8
EF-S 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM
EF 16-35mm f2.8 L II USM
EF 17-40 f4 L USM
EF 24-70mm f2.8 L USM
EF 70-200mm f2.8 L USM
EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS USM
EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 L IS USM

Thank you ahead of time for any help any one can give me, and if any one could also suggest a good flash that would also be swell.

I'd definitely choose the 85mm 1.8, as from what I am aware it's a fantastic lens for portraiture. Wouldn't know about others to take though :)

Although I am not a Canon user, I would have to agree with danturn about the 85mm 1.8, and I would also go with the 70-200 IS USM. With the 85, you have a good fixed range for portraiture, and with the 70-200, you can get a good range of close-ups and distance shots.

I do not pretend to be a bitch. I simply am one. Love it. Embrace it. Get over it.
:iconbcdirector:
That is also a decently priced lens to buy i might have to add that to my wishlist for later!

If it was me, I'd go for the 85mm 1.8 only if you're focusing more on portraits

It’s funny how the colours of the real world only seem really real when you viddy them on the screen.

Cool, so thats 3 for that lens.. I think i might get it and the 70-200 because i will have 3 cameras on me and i would love to try that beast out specially since the rental prices are decent.. $40 to rent a $2000 lens for a weekend, not bad at all

I've never done weddings so I'm just guessing.
I'd say EF 24-70mm f2.8 L USM - I've heard some good opinions about this one, and you can be more creative than with something with a fixed focal length.

And when it comes to flashes, I know only this: you should practise a lot, because they can be tricky ;)

Good luck!

You're just a picture, you're an image caught in time...
